There is no single doubt at all that Facebook Insights work big time and is called the excellent social analytical tool. Once you configure it, you are provided the detailed information of your website/blog. It helps you learn about your website’s engagement information – as to how your blog/website is distributed on Facebook. It also lets you know the demographics of your users.
Below we present the steps, which let you know as to how you can configure Facebook Insights on your website/blog.
Login to your Facebook account and then visit the Facebook Insights page.
On the top right corner, there is a green button that says, ‘Insights for your Website’. Click this button.
When you click, a pop up window will emerge where you have to enter your domain name (for which you want the insights) and then copy the meta tag.
Login to admin panel of your wordpress blog and open the header file of the theme and paste the meta tag there.
Once you are done with the pasting of meta tag, click the ‘Get Insights’ button on pop up window.
Now your Facebook Insights Page is ready i.e. your website is listed on Facebook Insights under listed websites.
For checking the insights, click on your website name.
There are few WordPress plugins which will make your life a little easier to get Facebook Insights but my experience is that you use the meta tag option and do stuff manually. But if you like to play with plugins here are two of them that will help you.
